Ledgent is seeking an experienced Financial Business Analyst with expertise in the manufacturing industry. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide primary accounting support to operating locations within the Division.
- Assist with purchasing, inventory, and other transactional issues.
- Prepare and review significant financial information for Division, Region, and corporate management.
- Participate in operational benchmarking and monthly performance analysis.
- Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc report requests related to sales, purchasing, working capital, and operating expenses.
- Analyze plant and division balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain and assess internal controls and participate in self-assessment processes.
- Perform journal entries, manage product inventory values within SAP, process payments, and review fixed asset transactions.
- Collaborate with a high-performance management team to maximize EBITDA and return on investment.
- Train Division personnel in utilizing company reporting systems.
- Regularly travel to business sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA, CMA, or CFM designation (or strong candidacy) preferred.
- 2 years of financial management experience (manufacturing and inventory experience required)
- Experience in financial analysis and special projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in SAP and PC-based applications, with strong Excel skills.
- Understanding of the conceptual framework underlying financial accounting.
- Diplomacy and leadership abilities within a team environment.
- Effective task prioritization and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
