General Merchandise Associate- Full-Time

Legacy Harley-Davidson is currently seeking a Full-time General Merchandise Sales Associate for Tuesday-Saturday.

Summary Description

The General Merchandise Sales Associate candidates must be outgoing, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and possess excellent people skills. Harley-Davidson and motorcycle knowledge is a plus. The General Merchandise Sales Associate assists the dealership by greeting customers, answering the telephone, cashiering, transferring calls, is accurate and comfortable with currency and computer skills. They must maintain a positive and professional attitude, and work to deliver excellent customer service that addresses all the customer's needs while getting them through the check-out process quickly and easily.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1) General Merchandise Department Operations

• Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, service to (internal & external) customers.
• Assisting customers completely through the purchase process.
• Required to receive payments while making sales on the floor.
• Working quickly and effectively
• Answering the telephone, cashiering, transferring calls, is accurate and comfortable with currency and computer skills
• Keep work areas as clean as possible and assist others with maintaining cleanliness.

2) Customer Service

• Working with customers to help them get the products they need.

3) Other Duties

• As assigned.

• Maintain up to date technical qualifications (in store & online training) by completing all training programs assigned by the Motorclothes Manager

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Previous retail experience is highly preferred

Physical Demands

• The noise level in the work environment can be elevated or loud at times.
• Requires the use of both hands.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 40lbs at times.
• Requires standing on retail floor for extended periods.

• Tuesday-Saturday
