Community Director

Job Summary:
The Evansville Lofts, a distinctive community of six uniquely historic and beautifully restored buildings in Downtown Evansville, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Community Manager to oversee operations and ensure exceptional resident experiences. This full-time role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a single-person office environment and is passionate about preserving the charm of historic properties while delivering modern, luxury living.

As the face of the Evansville Lofts, you will manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight for 123 unique loft homes across Cambridge Arms, Nabisco Building, Owen Block, Maybelle-Montrose, The Audubon, and Washington Court. You will play a critical role in fostering a vibrant and welcoming community in the heart of Downtown Evansville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leasing & Resident Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents.
• Market available units, conduct tours, and handle lease renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and concerns, ensuring satisfaction.
• Property Operations:
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders and property upkeep.
• Oversee compliance with property regulations and safety standards.
• Financial Management:
• Manage property budgets, collect rent, and minimize delinquencies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
• Marketing & Community Engagement:
• Promote the community through digital marketing, social media, and local partnerships.
• Organize resident events to foster engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Invoice entry.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
• High attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge or appreciation of historic properties is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
