Position Overview: As a Facility Care Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for both customers and employees. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other public areas according to established guidelines and standards.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed to ensure availability for customers and staff.
- Inspect and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly, such as spills, leaks, or damaged fixtures.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor fixtures.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized store environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning instructions and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
