Senior Accountant Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate who thrives in an unstructured environment and can think creatively. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience and a strong background in accounting, particularly with inventory, distribution, construction, multi-entity operations, and high-volume accounts payable. Experience with family offices is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor communications and payment processing.
- Maintain schedules of financial assets and assist with financial close activities.
- Prepare tax work papers and coordinate with external accountants.
- Handle general ledger reconciliations and analyses.
- Provide administrative support, including travel arrangements and calendar management.
Qualifications:
- Over five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in transitioning from SAGE 300 to SAGE INTACT and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Location and Hours:
- Office located in Great Neck.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000 to $110,000 annually.
