Supply Chain Manager

LHH is supporting our manufacturing client seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team. The primary focus of this role is on procurement and production planning of raw materials such as steel, copper, wire, and other essential components. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials to meet production schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, including steel, copper, and wire.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to align material availability with production schedules.
• Monitor market trends and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.

Qualifications:

• BS, in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, particularly in procurement and production planning.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
