What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Training Administrator position at Liebherr Group?

Responsible for Service Training Department administrative functions to include marketing support for the Training Department, design of training materials, website development and web e-training development and administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide marketing support for the Service Training Department, and provide support as required for the Sales and Service Departments.
  • Design promotions, documentation and presentations for Service Training Department.
  • Develop and maintain Training Department website, web advertisement and web e-training site.
  • Write training curriculums for customer training and prepare instruction books using Power Point, Word, Excel and/or other Microsoft programs.
  • Prepare classroom training materials, classroom and hands-on training areas for factory training schools.
  • Generate customer invoices and manage customer payments and deposit records.
  • Maintain customer database and perform administrative duties.
  • Stock, order and inventory factory service manuals.
  • Process and ship factory service manuals related to dealer orders.
  • Assist with housekeeping and cleanliness as required.
  • Assist in coordinating training activities.
  • Answer telephone and direct calls as necessary.
  • Coordinate and arrange air transportation and hotel accommodations for internal based training.
  • Negotiate Liebherr established rates with local hotels.
  • Coordinate and arrange lunch catering for training classes. Negotiate and monitor catering service quality and cost.
  • Coordinate and monitor printing vendor’s costs and negotiate savings.
  • Coordinate and arrange airfare for International Travel for LCI Internal LWE training.
  • Coordinate with LWE confirmations of training accommodations.
  • Design and maintain POL’s spreadsheets for internal and external training expenses.
  • Design, generate and deliver annual training schedules and registrations.

Competencies
  • Education and experience: A combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising Design, Web Design, Communication, Graphic Design, or comparable degree and/or experience of at least one to three years.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of staff inside and outside Liebherr.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate discretion to handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in PC based word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with website development software, graphic design software, e-learning software preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license.
