In this position you will perform all accounting, budgeting and payroll functions for some of the entities and/or the management company and work closely with controllers of related companies on various projects. Recent examples include application of newly issued software capitalization regulations, company organizational and start-up costs, and cash flow projections.
Historically our accounting departments have consisted of our Controller who then receives ancillary support from various members of the team, so the successful candidate has to not just be OK with, but rather driven by, being hands-on. Responsibilities Include:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000
Job Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant demonstrating increased responsibilities
Experience with accounting software
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-look-up)
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully meet deadlines
High attention-to-detail with strong desire for accuracy
Payroll processing experience

Responsibilities Include:
- Monthly account reconciliations
- Processing payroll
- Handling A/R, A/P and banking
- Producing monthly financial statements
- Financial budgeting and planning
- Managing employee personnel records – electronic and hard copy
- Employee benefits administration
- Processing personnel changes and new-hire paperwork
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000
Job Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant demonstrating increased responsibilities
Experience with accounting software

- Multistate payroll processing preferred
- Ability to perform tax and accounting research and form an opinion on application
