Position: Group Home Worker
Pay: $18.50, with a raise in the next 4 months to $22/hour
Location: Hooksett, NH
Available Openings:
Full Time:
Wednesday - 3pm-11pm
Thursday - 3pm-11pm
Friday - 3pm-11pm
Saturday - 3pm-11pm
Sunday - 3pm-11pm
Total: 40Hrs
Client Description:
Client is a young female who enjoys reading and spending time at the library. She also enjoys time outside when the weather permits, loves coffee and all animals. Client currently struggles with some healthy lifestyle choices and needs a strong support staff to encourage growth in this area. Staff must be comfortable utilizing restraints after training is complete, as the client does engage in aggressive behavior, and self-injurious behavior at time. Staff should also have good communication skills to be able to redirect before incidents occur.
Position Description:
Staff is responsible for assisting client with nighttime routine, cooking meals as needed, and maintaining the standards of the home. Staff will administer medications daily and is required to hold current med certification as well as MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behaviors) certification.
Requirements: ASL (American Sign Language) preferred but not required (other clients in this home use ASL).

What Does a DSP Do?
- Provide supervision and mentoring to clients, including role modeling appropriate behavior, redirection and crisis management

Hiring Requirements:

- Valid driver's license required & 18 years of age.
