What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appraisal Coordinator position at Lima One Capital?
Job Summary:
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: organize and assign daily appraisal service requests and ensure department service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement by monitoring and tracking daily orders and assignments. Engage internal lending business units to discuss appraisal order needs. Interact with appraisal third party vendors about performance levels. Document departmental reporting and schedule meetings with third-party vendors. Assist with department compliance and AMC audits. Act as liaison with internal lending business units and other support departments.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with Valuations Team (VT) and on workflow management
- Support VT members with all aspects of process organization, including order receipt/delivery and impacts to stated SLAs
- Maintain workflow efficiency through Collateral Management System and Loan Origination System
- Continually monitoring status of orders throughout process
- Procure and provide all needed documents for appraisal orders
Equivalent Education Level Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 4-6 years’ experience in Mortgage banking or appraisal environments preferred
- 4-6 years’ of coordinating or processing loan or appraisal workflow preferred
- 4-6 years’ of administrative experience is required
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Work with minimum supervision while meeting standards for quality
- Work well under time pressure, conflicting demands, and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all staff levels
- Strong computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office products (including Office, Excel, Word and Power Point)
