As a Medical Scribe, your main responsibility will be to assist healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and managing medical records. We need someone who pays close attention to detail and communicates effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Record patient encounters and medical histories as directed by healthcare providers.
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) systems to organize and maintain medical records.
- Ensure coding and documentation are done correctly for insurance purposes.
- Work closely with healthcare providers, during and post examination, to gather necessary information during patient visits.
- Prepare medical charts for appointments and follow-ups.
- Help healthcare providers access and review patient test results, reports, and records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect their information.
- Coordinate with the billing department to submit accurate medical claims.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and coding practices.
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers when needed.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding.
- Experience as a medical scribe is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical regulations and patient privacy laws (HIPAA).
