Warehouse Quality Control Repack Coordinator

As a Repack employee your primary responsibility will be to handle the repackaging of bulk food items into consumer-friendly packaging. You will work closely with the production team to maintain efficient operations and meet production targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Repackage bulk food items into different pack sizes according to company standards and specifications. 
• Ensure accurate labeling and count on all repackaged products. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the repackaging area to meet food safety standards. 
• Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues to the manager. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. 
• Assist with inventory management by accurately recording repackaged products. 
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and deadlines. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. 
• Other Duties to include reworking bulk and case freight as needed. 
• Reworking would be based on need to meet shipping needs.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent 
• At least one year of experience in a food industry company or industry 
• The ability to understand and carry out projects assigned 
• Ability to work independently within a team setting.
• The ability to work under pressure. 
• The ability to understand and implement the allocated addresses for the implementation of projects 
• Employee will need to train in company policies, safety standards in food production, and report on the hazards and risks in the production 
• Must be flexible with work hours and willing to work late on occasion as needed if projects run late.
• Requires employee to reach above the shoulder, kneel, crawl, bend or stoop frequently as needed.

Physical demands and Work Environment  

• Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Cold environment Area may be damp/wet Moderate noise level.
• Cold environment of 34-36 ºF   
• Large volume production facility includes: Automatic equipment
• Operation of Fork lift and Pallet Jack, PPE
