Job Summary: The Engineering Office Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting engineering teams and managers within the Engineering department. This position combines administrative expertise with a willingness to learn engineering processes to help keep projects on track, enhance productivity, and assist with communication within the team and across departments. This Engineering Office Administrator needs to have high level multitasking abilities and be able to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Manage the calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports of engineering leaders.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate project timelines, and ensure availability for key discussions and deadlines.
- Track milestones and ensure deadlines are being met.
- Prepare status reports or updates for leadership.
- Organize and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and/or project files.
- Ensure that project data and engineering documents are easily accessible and up to date.
- Act as a communication point between engineering teams and other departments.
- Relay technical information or meeting summaries to non-engineering teams when necessary.
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and summarize action items for team meetings.
- Coordinate logistics for team or client meetings (e.g., video conferences, room bookings, catering).
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and technical documents for stakeholders.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to anticipate needs and handle logistical challenges efficiently.
- Maintains confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Assist Engineers with product testing as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role has no direct reporting responsibilities
- Able to provide basic leadership cross functionally with peers and hold LogistiQ core values as a precedence.

- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers using English.
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience in a related role
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Employee spends time on shop floor, which could be significant portions of the day at times and require lifting up to 20 lbs. This role also requires spending time sitting in front of a computer.
Travel:
- This position may require occasional travel to customer sites, occasionally with little notice, including weekends and holidays in some cases. Main duty will be delivering parts to support staff on site. Employee must book and coordinate all trips (hotel, flight, rental).
Work Environment:
- The employee works in the office but does have frequent interaction with personnel on the shop floor. Typical workdays are split between the two environments but can sometimes be skewed heavily towards one or the other depending on work content at any given time. The employee may also be required to travel occasionally to work in customers’ plants or at suppliers. In plants, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is mixed but does not require hearing protection in most areas. This position is on site in Port Clinton, OH.
