Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial data.
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes to GAAP and advise the team on implications and required adjustments.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- 3 years of professional accounting experience, including GAAP compliance and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
