Responsibilities:
- Operate mixing and oven equipment
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure product consistency
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with other Cakery bakers to coordinate production schedules
- Assist in other Cakery tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in bakery production is required
- Knowledge of food industry standards and practices
- Familiarity Cakery and Bakery equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Knowledge of weights and measurements at a Cakery/Bakery level
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with Cakery staff
Requirements:
- Start at 5am Tuesday through Saturday
- Start at 11pm Saturday night as part of a rotating schedule (when working a Saturday night, baker will not work Saturday morning)
- Be able to bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in pounds and ounces
- Follow and apply sanitary guidelines to avoid product contamination
- Be able to communicate effectively in English
- Adapt to a changing environment
- Work with all staff in an effectively and with a friendly attitude

This is a part-time position. Expect to work a minimum of 24 hours a week, but should be available for 40-50 hours on a regular basis as we add more production volume. Pay starts at $16 an hour depending on experience.
