Description
We make our dough fresh in our restaurants every day because that’s how we roll! We start early here at Gatti’s, so our dough rollers must be early birds, too! The dough rolling process begins at 6:00 am and ends around 10:00 am each day. Does this sound like a job for you? Please check out the job requirements shown below:
Essential Functions:
• Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare dough.
• Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary.
• Combine measured ingredients in bowls for mixing.
• Set time and speed controls for mixing machines so that ingredients will be mixed according to instructions.
• Place dough in pans or on sheets and store in walk-in refrigerator.
• Prepare or maintain inventory or production records.
• Adapt the quantity of ingredients to match the amount of items to be baked.
• Cut, knead, roll, and shape dough to form pizza blanks.
• Clean dough equipment and dough room.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Education: It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or a certified G.E.D. program or have their high school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Unless currently attending high school, college, or a technical or vocation school, qualified applicants preferred to have at least six months work experience.
Skills: Qualified applicants must be able to learn basic job routines and must be able to communicate effectively. Employees must be capable of following recipes and performing repetitive, structured tasks
Health: An applicant who is currently infected with or has knowledge that they are currently infected with a communicable disease which has been determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services as one which is transmissible to the public through the handling of food will not be considered as a qualified applicant. An Applicant must comply with the applicable city Department of Health regulations as well as L.P.T. Retail Management Services, LLC dress code policies.
Physical Standards: Ability to stand and exert mobility in a fast-pace environment for up to six (6) hours in length; frequent reaching, bending, squatting and stooping; ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively; maintain regular attendance; use equipment including telephones, cash registers, calculators, knives, meat slicers, buffalo choppers, ovens, dough equipment, drills, mixers, can openers, scales, and dishwashing machines.
