Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC lathes and will be responsible for producing precision parts according to specifications. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate parts as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD designs to ensure accurate production.
- Utilize micrometers and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Program CNC machines using CAM programming techniques for optimal efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, CAD software, and CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Background in warehouse operations or fabrication is a plus.
