Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and communication skills. We are looking for someone to work a set schedule, the hours are from 10:00 A.M. till 6:00 P.M., Tuesday to Saturday. Commissions are available for every successful sale you make. As a Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, assist them in finding a vehicle, and promote our offerings through effective selling techniques. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be essential to your success.

Duties

• The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout the car lot.
• Describes features and demonstrates the vehicle’s operation, whether on the car lot or on a test drive.
• Utilize upselling techniques to encourage additional purchases and maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Keeps the work environment orderly, clean, and safe.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Skills

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual goals.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Bilingual ability is always a plus, but not a requirement.
• Sales experience is a plus but not required.
