Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Position Overview: Coordinator responsible for overseeing the smooth flow of goods throughout the company’s supply chain, working with all suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure order fulfillment and timely deliveries. Strive to optimize logistics operations and minimize costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily shipping of products, identify and address shipping issues, manage unexpected disruptions to the supply chain.
- Ready all shipments through appropriate packing, labeling and coordination through internal and external methods.
- Ensure adherence to shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Create and maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Ability to learn other aspects of supply chain flow to aid in other departments, i.e. inventory, receiving, ordering, etc.
Key Competencies and Skills Required:
- Familiar with logistics software/warehouse management systems (SAP), shipping regulations, knowledge of SAP functional and operational applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of business procedures and process flows.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to be able to lift up to 20 lbs. to and from the manufacturing floor, standing for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Due to ITAR regulations, U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma/GED required.
- 0-2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse activities preferred.
