Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. Your role will involve coordinating with various teams and ensuring efficient logistics operations.
Duties:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manage and optimize warehouse inventory levels
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
- Assist in production planning to ensure adequate stock levels
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) requirements
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in logistics operations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Logistic Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles, processes, and best practices
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Experience in contract negotiation and management
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
