Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our facility and ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions - Repair or replace defective components in mechanical systems, such as motors, pumps, valves, and bearings - Perform regular calibration and alignment of machinery to ensure accurate operation - Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute equipment installations or upgrades - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Skills: - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems - Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues - Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred - Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role - Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing or industrial environment - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions Join our team as a Mechanical Technician and contribute your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
