We are seeking a full-time Fixture Painter to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Create high end quality products utilizing paint, stain, clear coat and other similar products
- Spray paint in a large downdraft spray booth
- Mix and color match paints and stains to meet the requirements of individual jobs
- Create customer samples as needed
- Identify, troubleshoot and rectify potential quality control issues
- Operate and maintain painting equipment
- Collaborate with various departments/staff to ensure products meet customer requirements
- Utilize commercial grade finishes such as lacquer and high-gloss systems as determined by customers
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Prior experience painting in a large downdraft booth
- Experience working with stain, paint, clear-coat and creating samples as well as working with commercial grade finishes such as lacquers & high gloss systems.
- Ability to mix and custom match colors and stains and use a variety of painting techniques/processes
- Ability to produce a quality product and troubleshoot issues such as bubbling, color inconsistency, rough finish & other common problems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and practice new finishing techniques as necessary
- Experience powder coating and utilizing a CEFLA machine is a plus!
