Exciting opportunity to get on a great team in the Biotechnology industry as a Packaging Technician! This role plays a pivotal role in the packaging of in-vitro diagnostic kits that help healthcare professionals all over the world diagnose illnesses and diseases.
*NOTE:* This role is fully on site in Malvern, PA. The schedule is 6am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and package products according to company standards and specifications
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery and equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes
- Practices Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while performing duties.
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of packaged products
- Adhere to FDA regulations and guidelines for packaging and labeling
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of packaging equipment, hand tools, and forklift operation
- Familiarity with logic controllers and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging processes
- Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
