Overview
We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team and support our educational environment. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity in the learning process when the regular teacher is absent.
Responsibilities
- Conducting classroom instruction following the lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
- Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for students
- Implementing effective teaching strategies to engage students in various subjects
- Managing classroom behavior and promoting positive interactions among students
- Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth operations during the teacher's absence
Requirements
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with literacy education and math concepts
- Experience working with special education students, including those with autism
- Childcare experience is a plus
Compensation
- HS Diploma/Associates - $150 per day
- Bachelors Degree - $165 per day
Please be aware that the availability of work is based on the needs of our schools and the absences of our regular staff, so assignments may vary day to day. However, you will have access to our substitute system to view and accept available assignments.
