Purchasing & Pricing Operations
- Develop purchasing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate costs, and monitor supplier performance.
- Lead the pricing team in creating competitive strategies informed by market analysis and sales feedback.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Oversee inventory processes to ensure optimal stock levels and operational efficiency.
- Standardize procedures across locations to improve accuracy and meet organizational demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with company goals.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing purchasing team.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and provide guidance and feedback to team members.
- Implement data-driven solutions to enhance purchasing workflows and reduce lead times.
- Serve as a member of the company’s Continuous Improvement Committee (Lean methodology experience preferred).
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree or certifications like CSCP or CPSM (preferred).
- 8 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with Eclipse preferred) and advanced Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving efficiency and profitability.
