Job Summary
The Materials Manager is primarily responsible for receiving, inspection, storage, protection, preservation, and issuance of Goods to ensure a continuous and effective flow of equipment and materials to support construction activities. Position may be located in the home office in the early phases of project development / planning with deployment to the field to support construction on-site.
Essential Functions
- Always represent the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
- Actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”
- Generally responsible for receipt, care, custody, and control of Goods delivered to the jobsite.
- Operates / maintains the project inventory control system. Fulfills Construction requisitions for required Goods.
- Strategic and day-day management of all Material Management control activities and staff.
- Maintain reporting relative to Materials and Material Planning / Allocation to support Construction.
- Will serve as a key member of the Project Management Team and participate in progress / planning meetings.
