Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 12months
Job Description;
- Providing overall direction, guidance, and definition of an enterprise's architecture to effectively support the FLWINS Program.
- Researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
- Interfacing across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
- Conceptualizing solutions, building consensus, and the selling and execution of such solutions.
- Conducting design reviews for smaller enhancements and larger fixes
- Setting standards and best practices for solutions.
- Identifying areas of technology impacted by new requests.
Required Experience:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience in multiple IT areas
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant enterprise-wide architecture experience in one or more specialty areas).
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with software development.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with relational databases.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with system administration.
Position Responsibilities:
- Experience with architecting IT solutions and reviewing/providing recommendations on products to meet those solutions.
- Leadership experience with managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services.
- Experience with supporting the management and completion of complex projects or project tasks relevant to server/database infrastructure
services as a team member.
- Experience and understanding of COM policies and procedures for IT services as it applies to the project or task at hand.
- Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design, and integration.
- Experience with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Structured Query Language (SQL) (Oracle 12g, or SQL Server).
