Regional Service Sales Manager

1 Northeast with some preference for Boston, MA or close
60-70% travel, expectation is 3 - 4 days a week visiting process plants.
Overview
Goal is to develop the sales of services and aftermarket products surrounding biopharmaceutical process equipment. Customers include small, medium and large firms specializing in the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products. The candidate will report to the Global Director of Service Sales at the headquarters located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania USA.
The equipment is pressure vessels, tanks, containers, piping and control systems. So similar process or production equipment will work for the more junior roles, the more senior need to be familiar with the bio-tech equipment and FDA / GMP standards.
They need to have experience building relationships with maintenance, facilities, plant or project engineers and managers out on the process plant, finding out their problems and issues on the plant floor. They will be finding out where the problems are, the bottlenecks with the process equipment that affects efficiencies, cost savings, quality, and ability to clean, sterilize and turn around product lines quickly
IDEAL candidate :
Candidates must be trained at Cintas or Enterprise or ADP or similar formalized sales training programs with a few years of technical sales experience.
