What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Maynard Inc?

Job Responsibilities:
-Analyze technical drawings, specifications, 3D models, BOMs, and any other technical information required to manufacture.
-Create manufacturing estimates through planning and review which support customer requirements.
-Compute labor and material costs required to support manufacturing plans.
-Solicit quotations from outside vendors for chemical processing, standard hardware, and other special processes.
-Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to gather input on projects being estimated.
-Evaluate and document risk associated with an RFQ or quotation, including internal capability, delivery, material and outside processing requirements.
-Communicate with customers to gather information and provide feedback.
-Provide and obtain feedback for the refinement of Activity Profiles, training programs to keep current and relevant to company objectives and strategy.
-Initiate training plans and keep training records up to date.

Education and Experience Preferred:
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 1 year of experience performing similar tasks.
-Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
-Prior leadership or management experience.
Work Environment:
-Fast-paced office environment.
-Walking distance greater than 100 yards and multiple use of stairs, up and down.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
