McLeod/Ascanio is seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant, to be based in the Cumberland Foreside office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- CPA licensure.
- 5-7 years of tax preparation experience.
- Proficiency with Tax preparation software-Firm uses Intuit Lacerte.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project and time management skills.
- Ability to commute to office Monday through Friday and able to work overtime during tax season.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary client relationship for business and individual tax clients ensuring services are delivered timely and efficiently.
- Depending upon experience, will facilitate or directly review and sign tax returns for individual and entity engagements.
- Work with the partner group on setting and implementing policies and procedures with the Firm.
- Assist in tax planning for business and individual clients.
- Work with and coach junior accounting staff in procedural and technical matters.
