Accountant - Bookkeeper

McNorton Mechanical, a trusted name in Pensacola, FL, is hiring a full-time Accountant - Bookkeeper to join our team. With a competitive salary of $50,000 $70,000 per year, based on your experience, this role offers a stable and rewarding opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in a professional and supportive environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (to be confirmed).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ACCOUNTANT - BOOKKEEPER

• 2 years of experience (or related education) performing bookkeeping, fiscal, statistical, and clerical accounting activities
• Ability to write comprehensive financial reports
• MUST HAVE experience using QuickBooks and ServiceTitan software
• Basic bookkeeping, computer, and administrative skills
• Incomparable work ethic and teamwork abilities
• Great communication skills

Bookkeeper certifications are preferred but not required!

DAY-TO-DAY

As an Accountant - Bookkeeper , you will handle a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting tasks that keep our business running smoothly. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare journal entries, and perform monthly closings with debits and credits. Utilizing your skills in QuickBooks and Service Titan software, you will prepare detailed financial reports and ensure all bookkeeping activities are accurate and completed on time. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in maintaining our financial records and supporting the company's overall success.
