We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our construction team in the Kingman, AZ area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal products specific to industrial and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components for use in various construction applications, such as ductwork, exhaust systems, and custom metal fabrications.
- Installation: Install sheet metal products on construction sites, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and adherence to project specifications. Experience in installing IMP Panels. Must have experience in installing insulation.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements and layouts.
- Quality Control: Inspect fabricated components and installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing sheet metal installations to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure the successful integration of sheet metal components within larger construction projects.
- Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment on-site.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used, time worked, and project progress for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal work within the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools related to sheet metal fabrication and installation, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
- Blueprint Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor sites and elevated areas.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in sheet metal work or safety training are preferred.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
