Job Description:

• Facility type: Hospital Operating Room
• Patient types: Trauma, GYN, General, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, Plastics
• Employment type: Full-time Contract
• Start date: ASAP (2 weeks from offer)

- 12 hr days (11a – 11p) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- 10hr Days (11a – 9p) Monday – Thursday
- 10hr days (11a – 9p ) Tuesday - Friday

NO CALL

• Compensation: $50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries
• Demonstrates practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods
• Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients

Qualifications:

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• Completion of national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• 1 year of previous experience working in operating room
• BLS
