How you will make an impact:
Clean and maintain molds used in Injection Molding. Verify correct setups in the molds for parts to be run. Work with Molding personnel to troubleshoot and correct problems with the molds resulting in unacceptable parts.
- Disassemble, clean, lubricate and reassemble molds used in Injection Molding.
- Clean and maintain Cavities and Inserts used in the molds.
- Perform changeovers of Mold cavities and Inserts to required configuration.
- Work with the Molding Department Lead and operators to troubleshoot and correct problems with the molds.
- Verify alignment of cavities and inserts within the mold base. Shim cavities and inserts as needed for proper alignment.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience youll need:
- Ability to use various hand and pneumatic tools.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns and shoe covers must be worn. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
