We are partnered with a large global employer that is seeking a Vice President of Total Rewards to take charge of managing rewards for their worldwide team of over 27,000 employees in 50 countries.

The Vice President, Total Rewards, will drive the strategic design and execution of the organization's global compensation, benefits, and incentives programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and goals. The VP will play an essential role in enhancing the organization’s ability to attract, engage, and retain top talent through innovative and competitive total rewards offerings. The ideal candidate will possess both strategic vision and practical expertise, with experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments and a willingness to be hands-on in a collaborative team environment.

 

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business strategy and supports its growth objectives.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of global compensation, benefits, and incentive programs, ensuring they are performance-driven, market competitive, and compliant with legal standards.

• Spearhead the ongoing job architecture project, establishing a comprehensive role framework and global compensation structure.

• Partner with the employee equity team to ensure a holistic view of total rewards, aligning equity programs with overall compensation strategies.

• Ensure the performance management framework supports a pay-for-performance culture, driving accountability and aligning rewards with team member contributions.

• Partner with the Executive team and senior leaders to communicate total rewards programs effectively and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

• Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to ensure seamless implementation of total rewards initiatives and provide support on compensation matters.

• Provide education and guidance to leaders on compensation principles, benefits utilization, and market trends.

• Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decisions regarding compensation structures, benefits offerings, and overall rewards strategy.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain competitiveness in the market.

• Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local regulations and standards, maintaining a proactive approach to legislative changes and industry developments.

• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of Compensation Committee activities.

• Provide strategic support for investment and acquisition activities as they relate to total rewards.

 

Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM) preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in global total rewards, compensation, and benefits, ideally within a large, fast-paced organization with corporate and operational teams.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing compensation architecture and job frameworks.

• Strong experience in executive compensation, long-term incentive plans, bonus structures, market benchmarking, job evaluation, and global benefits.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with team members and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and inform program development.

• Experience working in diverse cultural environments and supporting both mature and emerging markets.

• A collaborative mindset, thriving in team-oriented settings, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
