Warehouse Associate

Merit Logistics has up to 5 full time, permanent, Warehouse Associate positions in Romulus, MI. The position is located inside the Kroger Distribution Warehouse, as a Merit Logistics Employee (3rd Party Logistics).

Starting Pay is $17.00/hr. This includes an average hourly incentive bonus based on productivity performance. Potential to make more via team wide incentive based bonuses.

Paid weekly on Friday!

Shift Availability:

1st Shift: 4:30AM~2:00PM (start on time, work til finish every day, early or late)

Qualifications:

• Punctual and Reliable
• Works with a positive attitude
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work (location below)
• Looking for team orientated, hard working individuals
• Open to change and can work in a fast paced environment both as a team and independently
• Warehouse experience is required
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities:

• Unload and process/breakdown warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, sort).
• Must be able to lift from 5lbs. to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work a full shift in the freezer (~15 degrees Fahrenheit) or dry section
• Keep a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Romulus, MI 48174: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
