- Three (3) years experience, in career and technology education and Human Resources Preferred.
- Manages the hiring processes for all part-time, temporary, and substitute teacher personnel.
- Manages part-time, temporary, and substitute teacher employee job postings when necessary.
- Confers with and oversees the process for Administrative Specialists at instructional sites on substitute hiring.
- Manages substitute assignment and tracking system.
- Remains knowledgeable and complies with SDE regulations regarding substitute teachers.
- Inputs employee data into all reporting systems as required.
- Maintains electronic personnel files for all part-time, temporary, and substitute teacher personnel.
- Confers with the Payroll Coordinator on time and attendance systems and tracking for substitute teachers.
- Conducts National Criminal History Checks for all substitute teachers hired to work in high school classes.
- Maintains confidential files and records and confidentiality of information.
- Conducts substitute workshops as necessary.
- Collaborates with coordinators on the hiring process for adjunct employees.
- Updates the monthly HR board agenda with necessary part-time, adjunct, and Economic & Workforce Development information.
