Mia Cake House is one of South Florida's premier cake supply stores, known for offering an variety of products and personalized customer service. We support both seasoned cake professionals and hobbyists locally, as well as through our online store.

We also offer a range of activities, from baking and decorating classes for all ages to day camps that inspire a love for the art of cake design.

As we expand, we’re looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for both customer service and creativity to join our team as Sales Associates.

Position: Sales Associate

This role is perfect for individuals who excel at engaging customers, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working in a creative yet structured environment. Whether you have a retail background or are looking to learn new skills, we welcome your unique experience and professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for customers, assisting them with product selections and inquiries.
• Clearly communicate product features and services to help customers find the best solutions.
• Manage store operations, including opening/closing duties and maintaining a neat, organized and clean showroom.
• Handle inventory, process merchandise, and keep our online presence updated.
• Assist with basic baking tasks, class prep, and store upkeep, including preparing fondant decorations and measuring ingredients.
• Offer customer service over the phone and through our online store.

What We’re Looking For:

• Customer-Oriented: You love connecting with people and offering exceptional service.
• Organized & Creative: You enjoy keeping things tidy and have a great aesthetic sense.
• Bilingual: Must be fluent in English . Ability to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cake baking or decorating is an advantage, but not required.
• Professional & Motivated: You are dependable, self-driven, and capable of multitasking.

Other Requirements:

• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Available for weekday afternoon shifts (1:30 pm – 7 pm) and alternating Saturdays (10 am – 2 pm).

Salary: $16 - $18/hour (based on experience)
