What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Adult Video Warehouse (Retail Sales)?
We are looking for Retail Sales Representatives to provide excellent customer service and meet the sales goals for our small business. We're currently seeking 2 or more individuals available during our operating hours, which ranges between 9am - 2am .
We are seeking individuals for our day shift , 850am - 545pm and our night shift, 515pm - 215am. You must be available from start to finish of one of those shifts.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. Dependability, critical thinking and the ability to collaborate with your team professionally will make you successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers to items in the store
- Answer customer's questions about specific products
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Suggest items that meet the customer's needs
- Basic retail & cash handling procedures
- Core skills in stocking, retail sales, and customer service
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for inventory management and retail calculations
- Additional premium skills such as POS knowledge and bilingual proficiency would be advantageous
