Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Engineering, or related, equivalent experience required.

• Master’s degree or advanced education preferred. 

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt is preferred.


Previous Work Experience: 

• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operational management.

• Medical Manufacturing Experience preferred.

• 5 years of working with 2 or more shifts required; 24/7 environment preferred.


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time or more.

• Must be able to operate a computer 50% of the time or more.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the company.  Serve as the subject matter expert for process planning and prioritization for operations. Create and implement strategies to increase efficiency, maintain quality, and ensure continuous improvement.

• Provide overall leadership, guidance, and motivation to all operations team members. Conduct routine supervisory issues including training, coaching, and evaluation. Assist in the development of future leaders in the department.

• Communicate the corporate vision, mission, and Roberds Way into operations practices and foster a culture of civility and respect throughout the facility. 

• Collaborate with executive leadership team to evaluate and monitor overall company performance, guide executive decision-making, and recommend actions to the shareholders.  

• Evaluate operational performance against established KPIs and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for improved accountability and appropriate reporting metrics that support demonstrated competencies, goals, objectives, and trend analysis for the operations team.  

• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in operations and industry; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources.

• Plan, administer, and control budgets for employee and equipment resources based on company growth and future needs, while being a good steward of MicroLumen’s financial health and sustainability. 

• Represent MicroLumen in a positive, professional manner at various external and internal events, including charity and social events, trade shows and customer visits.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrated Competencies:

• Strong computer skills and experience with various software programs including ERP systems, and Microsoft products such as Word and Excel.

• Highly proficient in managerial skills, including: interviewing, selecting, hiring, promoting, coaching, disciplining, and terminating employees.

• Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in supply chain and manufacturing processes.


Salary : $150,000 - $250,000
