Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. This role requires a keen understanding of the manufacturing processes, Microtrac’s services, and the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter customer orders and required information into MRP system
- Process order completion in MRP system
- Create job tickets and maintain customer communication in CRM
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within requested time frames
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Communicate frequently with sales, production, logistics, engineering, and accounting to ensure data accuracy
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records, including interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with order processing, ERP, and CRM systems
