Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resource Director who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR, employee benefits, and payroll programs and services that align with our company’s objectives. You will oversee key areas including benefit management, recruitment, employee relations / payroll, performance management, compliance, and HR strategy. You will report directly to the company President and play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s culture and future.
Qualifications:
- Human resource, Business Administration, or 8 years minimum related field experience required
- Proven track record of building and leading effective HR/Benefit programs in a growing organization
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, multistate tax and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management tools
Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive HR services
- Develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention to support company growth
- Oversee performance management processes to drive employee engagement and development
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on employee relations, company culture, and organizational structure
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements, updating company policies as necessary
- Manage and maintain the Paycor (HRIS) system to ensure accurate employment, payroll, and personnel data
- Executing the processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis within the Paycor (HRIS) system and supporting the company’s CFO/executive team in payroll review and reporting
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Manage employee relations and foster a positive environment through conflict resolution and proactive engagement
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making
- Continuously improve processes related to Paycor (HRIS), recruitment, applicant tracking, employee onboarding, and termination procedures
- Implement initiatives focused on fostering a positive workplace culture
