Accounts Payable Associate

Pay: $21 per hour

Job Summary
This role serves as a vital support function within the finance department, focusing on vendor invoice management and ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers by reconciling invoices with purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Obtain supplier invoices, receive documents, and other relevant materials, review for accuracy, apply proper coding, and post to the accounting system.
• Prepare checks for printing.
• Process hand checks as needed.
• Address and resolve supplier accounts payable (A/P) inquiries.
• Collaborate with buyers to resolve cost discrepancies, maintaining a cost discrepancy log for tracking.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the finance lead.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ERP software

• Entry-level position.
