Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking to add a Technical Services Engineer II to our team at our facility in New Berlin, WI. This position is 100% on-site with no opportunity to commute remotely. This is a salaried-exempt position with a starting wage commensurate on qualifications.

Summary – Serves as a technical liaison between customers, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing, Quality, and the Engineering department, pertaining to both segments of the business – Marine and Commercial & Industrial.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:
- Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for Sales and customers regarding product applications and end-user needs.
- Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between customers, Engineering, Quality, and the Sales departments to ensure customer needs are being met.
- Marine Contract Review: Provide “front-end” RFQ/PO contract review for adherence to sales order contract requirements including, but not limited to, review of customer part numbers, applicable specifications, actuation, the ability to supply requested item, and communicate any unique requirements to appropriate personnel.
- Marine/Naval Qualifications: Coordinate Naval product shock and vibration qualifications and other approvals as needed.
- Naval Drawing Review: Review revision updates to Naval drawings and evaluate all changes for engineering or manufacturing impact.
- Marine Contract Execution: Address and resolve issues that may arise to fulfill Marine contract requirements, coordinating with other internal departments to find effective solutions.
- Documentation: Submit appropriate procedures, produce Marine contract deliverables/drawings, and assist Marketing with technical changes to literature
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and/or implement improvements to engineering procedures, workflow processes, or other internal processes for better efficiency.
- Training: Participate in conducting training sessions for internal team development or external customer product training.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years related engineering experience and/or training. Knowledge of valves or process piping systems is beneficial.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings is beneficial (SolidWorks preferred). SAP experience is beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational skills, and detail-oriented. Must be proactive, self-motivating, and a team player.
- Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
