Position : Load Planner
Contract Period : 1 Year
Location : 2289 Orange Thorpe Ave., Fullerton, CA 92831
Work Hours : 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relations :
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support. Enhance customer satisfaction and grow business share through regular engagement. Operations Management :
Support and maintain SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Oversee daily operations, including booking, tracking, and tracing FTL, LTL, and air cargo. Provide excellent customer service throughout the shipping process, from booking to on-time delivery. Cost Efficiency :
Request quotations from carriers and negotiate spot rates. Manage and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and service quality. Communication and Coordination :
Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, carriers, and internal staff. Ensure account documentation is current, accessible, and properly stored. Communicate with management to address and resolve account issues. Analysis and Reporting :
Analyze service and cost data to recommend improvements. Report incidents such as service failures, claims, damages, or irregularities. Administrative Tasks :
Ensure accurate data entry into systems. Monitor trends and provide insights to management. Requirements and Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience :
Proven experience in FTL / LTL transportation dispatching or logistics operations required. Skills :
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills. Appropriate phone and email etiquette with internal and external customers. Additional Preferences :
Knowledge of warehouse and / or manufacturing processes is a plus. Korean billing experience preferred. Self-motivated individual who performs well under pressure with minimal supervision.
