About the Opportunity
The Minnesota Jewish Community Center is hiring a Director of Information Technology to join our organization. The Director of Information Technology leads our computing technology, such as networking, hardware, software, the internet, and being a partner to people that work with these technologies. The Director of IT works with stakeholders and leadership to understand how teams, employees, and patrons will use technology and what programs, features or platforms are needed. The Director is responsible for establishing IT processes, protocols, and strategically identifying resources to streamline and integrate the various technology needs of the organization. The incumbent must know and understand hardware, software, applications, networks and emerging technology. Security, efficiency, and integration are a crucial aspect of the Director’s responsibility. The Director serves as a key leader in developing and cultivating the JCC organizational culture and ensuring all leaders are equipped to model our cultural expectations.

Essential Functions
- Drive organization-wide technology.
- Review current IT systems, such as network, software and hardware features for any opportunities or challenges and update and implement strategic road map for network, software and hardware improvements.
- Ensure the integrity and security of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware utilized by the Minnesota JCC.
- Implement comprehensive cybersecurity protocols, ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and manage PCI, SOC, and other requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and Senior Leaders to determine which system requirements are necessary to remain efficient and recommend new systems that streamline efficiency and address or correct known issues.
- Gather and analyze system requirements and create analysis reports that represent the cost-benefit of any proposed upgrades.
- Lead the IT team in managing existing and implementing approved new systems that support efficient operations and budgetary goals.
- Develop, manage, and be accountable to IT Department budget.
- Test and troubleshoot existing and future technologies to ensure they're operating efficiently.
- Instruct team members on how to use systems through training programs and documents.
- Deliver cybersecurity and risk education.
- Submit and implement all approved systems under deadlines and budget resources.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
- Ensure system quality and performance, and plans for IT related business continuity.
- Manage system implementation and integration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties:
- Reviewing and approving time reporting.
- Assist Chief Administrative Officer with special projects.
