We are seeking for new, experienced and producing mortgage loan officers. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between clients and our financial institution, ensuring that qualified applicants receive their loans promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Assess creditworthiness by processing loan applications and related documentation.
- Conduct interviews to determine financial eligibility and loan feasibility.
- Calculate relevant financial ratios and develop debt repayment plans.
- Communicate with clients to gather and provide necessary information.
- Justify and report on decisions regarding loan approvals or rejections.
- Finalize loan contracts and guide clients on policies and regulations.
- Stay informed about various loan products and financial services.
- Maintain and update account records.
- Understand customer needs, explore available options, and present suitable loan products.
- Build referral networks and explore alternative channels to cross-sell products and meet targets.
- Foster trust, loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and lending guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in economics or finance- Strong communication skills- Experience in banking or lending industry- Knowledge of underwriting, loan origination, and loan processing- Familiarity with TILA and Fair Housing regulations- Ability to perform basic math calculations- Certification in SAFE Exam or Mortgage Loan Officer experience
