What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Social Marketing Manager position at Mixbook?
Mixbook is seeking an experienced, strategic and highly collaborative Paid Social Manager to scale our existing and identify new paid social media channels. As the Paid Social Manager for Mixbook you will report into the VP of Growth Marketing and play an instrumental role in developing the Paid Social strategy as well as owning the execution/implementation of the campaigns. You will be responsible for building and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition campaigns across all major paid social channels and will be using analytics to inform decisions and optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals.
Location
This is a remote position with quarterly travel to the San Francisco Bay Area. West Coast Working Hours; starting at 8am PST.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, design, and execute paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc) campaigns from execution to completion (audience segmentation, optimization goals, creative strategy/direction, measurement, etc).
- Use a data-first approach to analyze performance drivers to optimize for channel ROI.
- Be responsible for all campaign trafficking, quality control, campaign launch, reporting, and analysis. This is a hands-on role building & optimizing campaigns. Report on campaign KPIs to key stakeholders
- Optimize campaign performance towards activation, retention, and reactivation goals.
- Partner with internal teams to optimize campaign performance, product mix and customer journey; e.g. Creative, Data, CRM, etc.
- Manage the creative strategy across platforms and ensure they are relevant and driving efficiencies and scale.
- Develop relationships with key paid social partners to nurture performance growth. Manage external partners/contractors to maximize performance and ensure deadlines are met.
What You’ll Need
- 5 years of experience directly managing paid social campaigns on the client-side (preferred) or at a performance marketing agency.
- Track record of growth through a solid understanding of paid social and all performance marketing metrics (CPM, engagement rate, CPA, CPC & LTV)
- Strong quantitative & analytical skills; able to use data to optimize day-to-day performance and have experience with incrementality testing.
- Must be proficient at Excel for performance analysis (pivot tables, formula building, etc)
- Knowledge of Meta bidding, targeting, optimization, as well as web & app tracking (pixel) setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with performance marketing metrics and platform reporting.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Able to use data to optimize day-to-day performance.
- Strong communication and presenting skills with an eye for creative performance (extremely important).
- Strong organizational skills and project management ability
- Mobile App marketing and programmatic experience a HUGE plus
