Open Source Intelligence Analyst
Summary: MKS2 is looking for a dedicated and driven Open-Source Intelligence Analyst to provide research, analysis, reports, and customer guidance for our current AI/ML project.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to project requirements, technical papers, and other tasks as directed by customer.
- Conduct exploitation of social media and publicly accessible databases.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other intelligence disciplines to produce finished intelligence products, including threat assessments.
- Assess and provide recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies and tools.
- Produce Open-Source intelligence (OSINT) Reports.
- Respond to requests for information.
- Work alongside AI/ML Principal Investigators to determine which data sets can be implemented.
- May be required to lead the analysis and daily activities of a small team of OSINT Intelligence analysts.
Requirements:
- 3 years of demonstrated intelligence experience with BA/BS or 5 years with AS.
- Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the DoD.
- Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media.
- Writing professional intelligence products (reports, briefings, etc.)
- Providing direct customer support.
- Working as part of multi-discipline teams.
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited supervision and respond to short-notice tasking.
Desired Skills:
- TS/SCI clearance preferred; ability to obtain clearance level of Secret or higher.
- Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (e.g., OS301/OS302, CASO, defense or IC equivalent (DIA OS1, FBI OS101)
- Knowledge of scripting languages and technologies, including Python, Java, R Script, and JEMA
- Prior military or government analytical training (e.g., all source, SIGINT, HUMINT or GEOINT)
