Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide solutions that address their requirements.
- Develop and implement BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI systems and applications, recommending improvements and optimizations.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices for data analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BI technology, integrating new tools and techniques as appropriate.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data visualization best practices.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based BI solutions is a plus.
